Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel engines and fleet vehicles
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to reduce downtime
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Repair or replace components including brakes, engines, transmissions, and fuel systems
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify issues
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure fleet reliability
Requirements:
- 2+ years of diesel mechanic or heavy equipment experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills (mechanical and electrical)
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs
- Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Technical certification or trade school preferred
