Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Oversee monthly consolidation and intercompany elimination entries.
- Manage, train, and develop accounting staff, conducting performance evaluations and identifying training needs.
- Plan and implement accounting policies and procedures aligned with the company’s financial strategy.
- Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable, cash receipts, and asset management.
- Lead technical accounting initiatives, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Leases).
- Direct the company’s annual financial audit, working closely with external auditors.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on financial accounting data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Review and approve monthly account reconciliations.
- Own month-end and year-end close processes, delivering timely and accurate results.
- Analyze financial results versus budget and prior periods, identifying trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Assist with annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and rolling cash forecasts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA highly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong knowledge of general ledger and consolidation accounting; 2+ years in a people management role.
- Experience in Big 4 public accounting (3+ years) and private industry (3+ years) is strongly desired.
